The Story of the Fragrance

An homage to the Japanese art of kōdō fragrance. Tokyo captures the morning tranquility in the alleys and the dampness of potted plants in front of the temples. Nick Steward evokes contrasts – from the flavors of izakaya bars with wasabi and citrus to the meditative calm of wooden sanctuaries and hinoki wood.

Top notes: Yuzu, bergamot, black pepper, cardamom, wasabi

Heart notes: Hinoki wood, cedar, iris, frankincense, rose, nutmeg

Base notes: Amber, sandalwood, patchouli, vetiver
