A tribute to the Japanese art of kōdō. Tokyo captures the morning tranquility in the alleys and the dampness of potted plants in front of the temples. Nick Steward evokes contrasts – from the flavors of izakaya bars with wasabi and citrus to the meditative calm of wooden shrines and hinoki wood.
